Part of the Slate Island Collection: paintings inspired by trips to the Inner Hebrides islands of Easdale and Seil, off the North West coast of Scotland.

Easdale is battered by strong storms. When I was visiting, Storm Ali struck, blasting the island with 70 miles an hour wind. The Atlantic Ocean rages and whips up the kelp and seaweed into strands and globs of foam that blow across the island.
