'Shout' started in January as a pencil drawing of a classic 'Lindt' chocolate teddy bear that was given to me as a little gift at Xmas: it was such a lovely little thing I wanted to draw it straight away. There was something inviting and at the same time something unsettling and perhaps a little sinister about this little bear. Something pent up and frustrated. Hence the full title: Shout, Shout Let it all out.. - The title comes from the song of the same name by Tears for Fears. it is tongue in cheek but like many of my titles it conveys something more serious, giving the image an existential makeover.
