Part of the Slate Island Collection: paintings inspired by trips to the Inner Hebrides islands of Easdale and Seil, off the North West coast of Scotland.

The small island of Easdale is the smallest permanently inhabited island of the Inner Hebrides, off Scotland's north west coast. The small community of around 60 people, live in small white miners’ cottages dotted around the only small hill ‘Smiddy Brae’, on this slate rock, perched precariously on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
